Prepare Instagram
Do these steps once before clicking Connect Instagram.
- 1Use a business account
Connect the Instagram account that receives customer DMs. Switch it to Professional or Business first.
- 2Allow message access
In Instagram settings, allow connected tools to access messages so Hamyar can read and answer DMs.
- 3Connect safely
Click Connect Instagram, log in on Instagram, approve the permissions, then send one test DM from another account.
Important: log in with the receiving Professional Instagram account. A personal account cannot be connected as the managed Hamyar account, but it can send the test message.
